Salutation (Gal 1:1-5)

There is No Other Gospel (Gal 1:6-10)

1:10 Ἄρτι現在 Presently γὰρ因為 for ἀνθρώπους人 of men πείθω我說服 do I seek approval ἢ還是 or τὸν- - Θεόν上帝 God? ; ἢ還是 Or ζητῶ我尋求 do I seek ἀνθρώποις人 men ἀρέσκειν討喜歡 to please? ; εἰ如果 For if ἔτι仍舊 yet ἀνθρώποις人 men ἤρεσκον我討喜歡 I were pleasing , Χριστοῦ基督 of Christ δοῦλος僕人 a servant οὐκ不 not ἂν就 - ἤμην我是 I would be .

How Paul Became an Apostle (Gal 1:11-24)

1:11 γνωρίζω我使知道 I make known γὰρ- for ὑμῖν你們 to you , ἀδελφοί弟兄們 brothers , τὸ- the εὐαγγέλιον福音 gospel τὸ- - εὐαγγελισθὲν所傳 having been preached ὑπ᾽- by ἐμοῦ我 me ὅτι- that οὐκ不 not ἔστιν是 it is κατὰ按照 according to ἄνθρωπον人 man · 1:12 οὐδὲ既不 Neither γὰρ因為 for ἐγὼ我 I παρὰ從 from ἀνθρώπου人 man παρέλαβον領受 received αὐτό它 it οὔτε也不 nor ἐδιδάχθην被教導 was I taught [it] , ἀλλὰ而是 but δι᾽藉著 by ἀποκαλύψεως啟示 a revelation Ἰησοῦ耶穌 of Jesus Χριστοῦ基督 Christ .

Paul Accepted by the Other Apostles (Gal 2:1-10)

Paul Rebukes Peter at Antioch (Gal 2:11-14)

2:11 ὅτε當 When δὲ不過 however ἦλθεν來 came Κηφᾶς磯法 Peter εἰς到 to Ἀντιόχειαν安提阿 Antioch , κατὰ當 to πρόσωπον面 face αὐτῷ他 his ἀντέστην我反對 I opposed [him] , ὅτι因為 because κατεγνωσμένος責備 condemned ἦν他有 he stood . 2:12 πρὸ在之前 Before τοῦ- - γὰρ原來 for ἐλθεῖν來到 came τινας一些人 certain ones ἀπὸ從..那裡 from Ἰακώβου雅各 James μετὰ和 with τῶν- the ἐθνῶν外邦人 Gentiles συνήσθιεν他一同吃飯 he was eating · ὅτε及至 when δὲ- however ἦλθον他們來到 they came , ὑπέστελλεν他退縮 he was drawing back καὶ- and ἀφώριζεν分開 was separating ἑαυτόν自己 himself φοβούμενος因為懼怕 being afraid of τοὺς- those ἐκ- of περιτομῆς奉割禮的人 [the] circumcision . 2:13 καὶ- And συνυπεκρίθησαν跟著裝假 acted hypocritically αὐτῷ他 with him καὶ也 also οἱ- the λοιποὶ其餘 rest Ἰουδαῖοι猶太人 of [the] Jews , ὥστε甚至 so that καὶ連 even Βαρνάβας巴拿巴 Barnabas συναπήχθη被引入歧途 was carried away αὐτῶν他們 of them τῇ- by the ὑποκρίσει虛偽 hypocrisy . 2:14 Ἀλλ᾽但是 But ὅτε一 when εἶδον我看見 I saw ὅτι- that οὐκ不 not ὀρθοποδοῦσιν做得符合 they are walking uprightly πρὸς按照 according to τὴν- the ἀλήθειαν真理 truth τοῦ- of the εὐαγγελίου福音 gospel , λέγω說 I said τῷ對 - Κηφᾷ磯法 to Peter ἔμπροσθεν在面前 before πάντων眾人 all · Εἰ既然 If σὺ你 you Ἰουδαῖος猶太人 a Jew ὑπάρχων是 being ἐθνικῶς按照外邦人 like a Gentile καὶ- and οὐκ不 not Ἰουδαϊκῶς按照猶太人 like a Jew ζῇς生活 live , πῶς怎麼 why τὰ- the ἔθνη外邦人 Gentiles ἀναγκάζεις勉強 do you compel ἰουδαΐζειν按照猶太人 to Judaize? ;

Jews, like Gentiles, are Saved by Faith (Gal 2:15-21)

2:15 Ἡμεῖς我們 We φύσει生來 by birth Ἰουδαῖοι猶太人 Jews καὶ- and οὐκ不 not ἐξ從 of ἐθνῶν外邦 [the] Gentiles Ἁμαρτωλοί罪人 sinners · 2:16 εἰδότες我們知道 knowing δὲ可是 nevertheless ὅτι- that οὐ不 not δικαιοῦται被稱為義 is justified ἄνθρωπος人 a man ἐξ因 by ἔργων行為 works νόμου律法 of law ἐὰν除非 if μὴ- not διὰ因 through πίστεως信 faith Ἰησοῦ耶穌 from Jesus Χριστοῦ基督 Christ , καὶ也 even ἡμεῖς我們 we εἰς- in Χριστὸν基督 Christ Ἰησοῦν耶穌 Jesus ἐπιστεύσαμεν相信了 have believed , ἵνα為要 that δικαιωθῶμεν我們被稱為義 we may be justified ἐκ因 by πίστεως信 faith Χριστοῦ基督 from Christ καὶ- and οὐκ不 not ἐξ因 by ἔργων行為 works νόμου律法 of the Law , ὅτι因為 because ἐξ因 by ἔργων行為 works νόμου律法 of the Law οὐ沒有 not . 2:17 Εἰ若 If δὲ但 however ζητοῦντες我們尋求 seeking δικαιωθῆναι被稱為義 to be justified ἐν在裡 in Χριστῷ基督 Christ εὑρέθημεν被發現 have been found καὶ還是 also αὐτοὶ自己 we ourselves ἁμαρτωλοί罪人 sinners , ἆρα那麼 [is] then Χριστὸς基督 Christ ἁμαρτίας罪 of sin διάκονος僕人 a minister? ; μὴ不會 Never γένοιτο絕對 may it be! . 2:18 εἰ如果 If γὰρ因為 for ἃ所 that κατέλυσα我拆毀 I had torn down ταῦτα這些 these things πάλιν重新 again οἰκοδομῶ我建造 I build , παραβάτην違犯律法的人 a transgressor ἐμαυτὸν自己 myself συνιστάνω證明 I prove . 2:19 ἐγὼ我 I γὰρ原來 for διὰ藉著 through νόμου律法 [the] Law νόμῳ向律法 to [the] Law ἀπέθανον死了 died , ἵνα好使 that Θεῷ向上帝 to God ζήσω我可以活著 I might live . 3:1 Ὦ- O ἀνόητοι無知 foolish Γαλάται加拉太人哪 Galatians! , τίς誰 Who ὑμᾶς你們 you ἐβάσκανεν迷惑了 has bewitched , οἷς你們 whose κατ᾽前 before ὀφθαλμοὺς眼 eyes Ἰησοῦς耶穌 Jesus Χριστὸς基督 Christ προεγράφη已經活現 was publicly portrayed ἐσταυρωμένος釘十字架 [as] having been crucified? ; 3:2 τοῦτο這 This μόνον只 only θέλω我想要 I wish μαθεῖν請教 to learn ἀφ᾽向 from ὑμῶν你們 you · ἐξ因 by ἔργων行為 works νόμου律法 of [the] Law τὸ- the Πνεῦμα靈 Spirit ἐλάβετε你們領受 did you receive ἢ或是 or ἐξ因 by ἀκοῆς聽從 hearing πίστεως信心 of faith? ; 3:3 Οὕτως這樣 So ἀνόητοί無知 foolish ἐστε你們 are you? , ἐναρξάμενοι你們開始 Having begun Πνεύματι以靈 in [the] Spirit νῦν如今 now σαρκὶ以肉身 in [the] flesh ἐπιτελεῖσθε完成 are you being perfected? ; 3:4 τοσαῦτα這麼多 So many things ἐπάθετε你們受苦 did you suffer εἰκῇ徒然 in vain ; εἴ如果 if γε真是 indeed καὶ- also εἰκῇ徒然 in vain? . 3:5 ὁ那 The [One] οὖν那麼 therefore ἐπιχορηγῶν賜給 supplying ὑμῖν你們 to you τὸ- the Πνεῦμα靈 Spirit καὶ又 and ἐνεργῶν行 working δυνάμεις異能 miracles ἐν在中間 among ὑμῖν你們 you , ἐξ因 [is it] out of ἔργων行為 works νόμου律法 of the Law ἢ或是 or ἐξ因 out of ἀκοῆς聽從 hearing πίστεως信心 of faith? ; 3:6 Καθὼς正如 So also Ἀβραὰμ亞伯拉罕 Abraham ἐπίστευσεν相信了 believedV-AAI-3S τῷ- -T-DSM Θεῷ上帝 GodN-DSM , καὶ就 andCONJ ἐλογίσθη被算為 it was reckonedV-API-3S αὐτῷ他 to himP-DSM εἰς- asPREP δικαιοσύνην義 righteousnessN-ASF ·

The Law and the Promise (Gal 3:15-20)

3:15 Ἀδελφοί弟兄們 Brothers , κατὰ按照 according to ἄνθρωπον人 man λέγω我說 I am speaking · ὅμως甚至 Even ἀνθρώπου人 of man κεκυρωμένην一經確定 having been ratified διαθήκην約 a covenant οὐδεὶς沒有人 no one ἀθετεῖ廢棄 sets aside ἢ或 or ἐπιδιατάσσεται加增 adds thereto . 3:16 τῷ向 - δὲ- And Ἀβραὰμ亞伯拉罕 to Abraham ἐρρέθησαν說 were spoken αἱ那些 the ἐπαγγελίαι應許 promises καὶ和 and τῷ- to the σπέρματι子孫 seed αὐτοῦ他 of him . οὐ不是 Not λέγει說 it does say · Καὶ和 and τοῖς- - σπέρμασιν眾子孫 to seeds , ὡς像是 as ἐπὶ指著 of πολλῶν許多 many ἀλλ᾽而是 but ὡς像是 as ἐφ᾽指著 of ἑνός一 One · Καὶ和 and ἐστιν是 is Χριστός基督 Christ . 3:17 Τοῦτο這 This δὲ- now λέγω我說 I say · διαθήκην約 [The] covenant προκεκυρωμένην預先所立 having been confirmed beforehand ὑπὸ被 by τοῦ- - Θεοῦ上帝 God ὁ- - μετὰ以後 afterward τετρακόσια四百 four hundred καὶ- and τριάκοντα三十 thirty ἔτη年 years γεγονὼς成立 having come νόμος律法 [the] law οὐκ不 not ἀκυροῖ廢掉 does annul εἰς以致 so as τὸ- - καταργῆσαι使失效 to nullify τὴν- the ἐπαγγελίαν應許 promise . 3:18 εἰ如果 If γὰρ因為 for ἐκ出於 by νόμου律法 [the] Law [is] ἡ- the κληρονομία承受產業 inheritance , οὐκέτι不再 [it is] no longer ἐξ出於 by ἐπαγγελίας應許 a promise · τῷ給 - δὲ但是 but Ἀβραὰμ亞伯拉罕 to Abraham δι᾽藉著 through ἐπαγγελίας應許 a promise κεχάρισται賜 has granted [it] ὁ- - Θεός上帝 God . 3:19 Τί為甚麼 Why οὖν那麼 then ὁ- the νόμος律法 Law? ; τῶν- - παραβάσεων過犯 Transgressions χάριν為了的緣故 on account of προσετέθη被加上 it was added , ἄχρις直到 until οὗ那位 that ἔλθῃ來到 should have come τὸ- the σπέρμα子孫 seed ᾧ- to whom ἐπήγγελται蒙應許 promise has been made , διαταγεὶς所設立 having been ordained δι᾽藉著 through ἀγγέλων天使 angels ἐν經 in χειρὶ手 [the] hand μεσίτου中保 of a mediator . 3:20 ὁ- - δὲ但 However μεσίτης中保 a mediator ἑνὸς為單 of one [person] οὐκ不 not ἔστιν是 is , ὁ- - δὲ卻 but Θεὸς上帝 God εἷς一位 one ἐστιν是 is .

Slaves and Sons (Gal 3:21-4:7)

3:21 Ὁ- The οὖν這樣 therefore νόμος律法 Law κατὰ與 [is] contrary to τῶν- the ἐπαγγελιῶν應許 promises τοῦ- - Θεοῦ上帝 of God? ; μὴ不是 Never γένοιτο絕對 may it be! . εἰ如果 If γὰρ- for ἐδόθη被賜給 had been given νόμος律法 a law ὁ- - δυνάμενος能夠 being able ζωοποιῆσαι使得生命 to impart life , ὄντως誠然 indeed ἐκ出於 from out of νόμου律法 [the] Law ἂν- - ἦν是 would have emerged ἡ- - δικαιοσύνη義 righteousness · 3:22 ἀλλὰ但是 but συνέκλεισεν圈 imprisoned ἡ- the γραφὴ經上的話 Scripture τὰ- things πάντα所有 all ὑπὸ在之下 under ἁμαρτίαν罪 sin , ἵνα為要 so that ἡ- the ἐπαγγελία應許 promise ἐκ因 by πίστεως信 faith Ἰησοῦ耶穌 from Jesus Χριστοῦ基督 Christ δοθῇ賜給 might be given τοῖς那些 to those πιστεύουσιν相信 believing .

3:23 Πρὸ在之前 Before τοῦ- - δὲ但 now ἐλθεῖν來到 came τὴν這 - πίστιν信仰 faith ὑπὸ在之下 under νόμον律法 the Law ἐφρουρούμεθα我們被看守 we were held in custody συνκλειόμενοι被圈 having been locked up εἰς直到 until τὴν那 the μέλλουσαν將來 being about πίστιν信仰 faith ἀποκαλυφθῆναι被顯明出來 to be revealed , 3:24 ὥστε這樣 so that ὁ- the νόμος律法 Law παιδαγωγὸς啓蒙教師 trainer ἡμῶν我們 of us γέγονεν一向是 has become εἰς直到 unto Χριστόν基督 Christ , ἵνα好使 so that ἐκ因 by πίστεως信 faith δικαιωθῶμεν我們被稱為義 we might be justified · 3:25 ἐλθούσης已經來到 Having come δὲ但 now τῆς這 - πίστεως信仰 faith οὐκέτι不再 no longer ὑπὸ在之下 under παιδαγωγόν啓蒙師傅 a trainer ἐσμεν我們是 we are .

3:26 Πάντες每一個 All γὰρ其實 for υἱοὶ子孫 sons Θεοῦ上帝 of God ἐστε你們是 you are διὰ藉著 through τῆς- - πίστεως信 faith ἐν在裡 in Χριστῷ基督 Christ Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus · 3:27 ὅσοι凡 As many as γὰρ- for εἰς歸入 into Χριστὸν基督 Christ ἐβαπτίσθητε你們受洗 you were baptized , Χριστὸν基督 Christ ἐνεδύσασθε穿上了 you have put on . 3:28 οὐκ沒 Neither ἔνι有 there is Ἰουδαῖος猶太人 Jew οὐδὲ也沒 nor Ἕλλην希臘人 Greek , οὐκ沒 neither ἔνι有 there is δοῦλος奴隸 slave οὐδὲ也沒 nor ἐλεύθερος自由 free , οὐκ沒 neither ἔνι有 there is ἄρσεν男 male καὶ或 and θῆλυ女 female · πάντες每一個 all γὰρ因為 for ὑμεῖς你們 you εἷς一 one ἐστε是 are ἐν在裡 in Χριστῷ基督 Christ Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus . 3:29 εἰ既然 If δὲ- now ὑμεῖς你們 you [are] Χριστοῦ屬於基督 Christs , ἄρα就 then τοῦ- - Ἀβραὰμ亞伯拉罕 Abrahams σπέρμα子孫 seed ἐστέ你們是 you are , κατ᾽按照 according to ἐπαγγελίαν應許 [the] promise κληρονόμοι繼承人 heirs .

4:1 Λέγω我說 I say δέ- now , ἐφ᾽在上 for ὅσον- as long as χρόνον時候 time ὁ- the κληρονόμος繼承人 heir νήπιός未成年 a child ἐστιν他是 is , οὐδὲν沒甚麼 not διαφέρει區別 he differs δούλου與僕人 from a slave κύριος主人 [though] owner πάντων全部 of everything ὤν是 being , 4:2 ἀλλὰ但是 Instead ὑπὸ在之下 under ἐπιτρόπους監護人 guardians ἐστὶν他是 he is καὶ和 and οἰκονόμους管家 trustees ἄχρι直到 until τῆς- the προθεσμίας預定 time appointed τοῦ- by [his] πατρός父親 father . 4:3 οὕτως這樣 So καὶ也是 also ἡμεῖς我們 we , ὅτε當 when ἦμεν在 we were νήπιοι未成年 children , ὑπὸ在之下 under τὰ- the στοιχεῖα基本原則 basic principles τοῦ- of the κόσμου世界 world ἤμεθα在 were δεδουλωμένοι被奴役 held in bondage · 4:4 Ὅτε等到 When δὲ- however ἦλθεν來到 had come τὸ- the πλήρωμα滿足 fullness τοῦ- of the χρόνου時候 time , ἐξαπέστειλεν差遣 sent forth ὁ- - Θεὸς上帝 God τὸν- the Υἱὸν兒子 Son αὐτοῦ他 of him , γενόμενον生 having been born ἐκ由 of γυναικός女子 a woman , γενόμενον生 having been born ὑπὸ在之下 under νόμον律法 [the] Law , 4:5 ἵνα為要 that τοὺς- those ὑπὸ之下 under νόμον律法 [the] Law ἐξαγοράσῃ救贖 He might redeem , ἵνα好使 so that τὴν- the υἱοθεσίαν兒子的名分 divine adoption as sons ἀπολάβωμεν我們獲得 we might receive . 4:6 Ὅτι因為 Because δέ- now ἐστε你們是 you are υἱοί兒子 sons , ἐξαπέστειλεν差遣 sent forth ὁ- - Θεὸς上帝 God τὸ- the Πνεῦμα靈 Spirit τοῦ- of the Υἱοῦ兒子 Son αὐτοῦ他 of Him εἰς進到 into τὰς- the καρδίας心 hearts ἡμῶν我們 of us κρᾶζον呼叫 crying out · Ἀββᾶ阿爸 Abba ὁ- - Πατήρ父 Father! . 4:7 ὥστε好讓 So οὐκέτι不再 no longer εἶ你是 you are δοῦλος奴隸 a slave ἀλλὰ而是 but υἱός兒子 a son · εἰ既然 if δὲ- now υἱός兒子 a son , καὶ也 also κληρονόμος繼承人 an heir διὰ藉著 through Θεοῦ上帝 God .

Paul’s Concern for the Galatians (Gal 4:8-20)

5:2 Ἴδε看 Behold ἐγὼ我 I Παῦλος保羅 Paul λέγω告訴 say ὑμῖν你們 to you ὅτι- that ἐὰν若 if περιτέμνησθε你們受割禮 you shall become circumcised , Χριστὸς基督 Christ ὑμᾶς對你們 you οὐδὲν沒甚麼 nothing ὠφελήσει益處 will profit . 5:3 μαρτύρομαι我鄭重地說 I testify δὲ- now πάλιν再 again παντὶ指著凡 to every ἀνθρώπῳ人 man περιτεμνομένῳ受割禮 being circumcised ὅτι- that ὀφειλέτης有義務者 a debtor ἐστὶν他是 he is ὅλον全部 all τὸν- the νόμον律法 Law ποιῆσαι遵行 to keep . 5:4 κατηργήθητε你們隔絕 You are severed ἀπὸ與 from Χριστοῦ基督 Christ , οἵτινες你們 whoever ἐν靠 in νόμῳ律法 [the] Law δικαιοῦσθε被稱為義 are being justified , τῆς- from χάριτος從恩典中 grace ἐξεπέσατε墜落了 you have fallen away . 5:5 Ἡμεῖς我們 We γὰρ至於 for Πνεύματι靠著靈 through [the] Spirit ἐκ憑著 by πίστεως信心 faith ἐλπίδα盼望 [the] hope δικαιοσύνης稱義 of righteousness ἀπεκδεχόμεθα等候 eagerly await . 5:6 ἐν在裡 In γὰρ因為 for Χριστῷ基督 Christ Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus οὔτε既沒 neither περιτομή受割禮 circumcision τι甚麼 any ἰσχύει功效 has power οὔτε也沒 nor ἀκροβυστία不受割禮 uncircumcision ἀλλὰ惟獨 but only πίστις信心 faith δι᾽藉著 through ἀγάπης仁愛 love ἐνεργουμένη發出 working .

5:7 Ἐτρέχετε你們向來跑 You were running καλῶς好 well · τίς誰 Who ὑμᾶς你們 you ἐνέκοψεν攔阻了 cut into τῇ- the ἀληθείᾳ真理 truth μὴ不 not πείθεσθαι使順從 to obey? ; 5:8 ἡ- [This] πεισμονὴ勸導 persuasion [is] οὐκ不 not ἐκ出於 of τοῦ那 the [One] καλοῦντος召喚 calling ὑμᾶς你們 you . 5:9 μικρὰ一點 A little ζύμη麵酵 leaven ὅλον全 whole τὸ- the φύραμα麵團 lump ζυμοῖ能使發起來 leavens . 5:10 ἐγὼ我 I πέποιθα確信 am confident εἰς- as to ὑμᾶς你們 you ἐν在裡 in Κυρίῳ主 [the] Lord ὅτι- that οὐδὲν不 no ἄλλο別 other φρονήσετε你們會懷有思想 mind will you have · ὁ- The [one] δὲ但 however ταράσσων騷擾 troubling ὑμᾶς你們 you βαστάσει將會承受 will bear τὸ- the κρίμα懲罰 judgment , ὅστις誰 whoever ἐὰν無論 if ᾖ他是 he might be . 5:11 Ἐγὼ我 I δέ- now , ἀδελφοί弟兄們 brothers , εἰ若 if περιτομὴν割禮 circumcision ἔτι仍舊 still κηρύσσω傳講 proclaim , τί為甚麼 why ἔτι還 still διώκομαι受迫害 am I persecuted? ; ἄρα若是這樣 In that case κατήργηται沒有了 has been abolished τὸ- the σκάνδαλον使人跌倒 offense τοῦ- of the σταυροῦ十字架 cross . 5:12 Ὄφελον恨不得 I wish καὶ- also ἀποκόψονται把自己閹割 will emasculate themselves οἱ那 those ἀναστατοῦντες騷擾 upsetting ὑμᾶς你們 you .

5:13 Ὑμεῖς你們 You γὰρ- for ἐπ᾽爲了 to ἐλευθερίᾳ自由 freedom ἐκλήθητε蒙召 were called , ἀδελφοί弟兄們 brothers · μόνον只是 but μὴ不 not τὴν- the ἐλευθερίαν自由 freedom εἰς為了 for ἀφορμὴν機會 an opportunity τῇ給 to the σαρκί肉體 flesh , ἀλλὰ總 Rather διὰ藉著 through τῆς- - ἀγάπης愛心 love δουλεύετε要服侍 serve ἀλλήλοις互相 one another . 5:14 ὁ- - γὰρ因為 For πᾶς全部 the entire νόμος律法 Law ἐν之內 in ἑνὶ一 one λόγῳ話 word πεπλήρωται得以滿足 is fulfilled , ἐν在 in τῷ這 this · Ἀγαπήσεις要愛 You shall love δὲ- however ἀλλήλους互相 one another δάκνετε你們咬 you bite καὶ- and κατεσθίετε吞 devour , βλέπετε你們要謹慎 take heed μὴ不 lest ὑπ᾽恐怕 by ἀλλήλων彼此 one another ἀναλωθῆτε要消滅 you might be consumed .

The Fruit of the Spirit and the Works of the Flesh (Gal 5:16-26)

5:16 Λέγω我說 I say δέ- now , Πνεύματι順著靈 by [the] Spirit περιπατεῖτε要行走 walk καὶ就 and ἐπιθυμίαν情慾 [the] desire σαρκὸς肉體 [of the] flesh οὐ絕不 no μὴ- not τελέσητε滿足 you should gratify . 5:17 ἡ- The γὰρ因為 for σὰρξ血體 flesh ἐπιθυμεῖ情慾 desires κατὰ反對 against τοῦ- the Πνεύματος靈 Spirit , τὸ- - δὲ- and Πνεῦμα靈 the Spirit κατὰ反對 against τῆς- the σαρκός肉體 flesh , ταῦτα這些 these γὰρ- for ἀλλήλοις彼此 to one another ἀντίκειται敵對 are opposed , ἵνα使 in order μὴ不 not ἃ所 that ἐὰν- if θέλητε你們願意 you might wish ταῦτα這些 those things ποιῆτε做 you should do . 5:18 εἰ若 If δὲ- however Πνεύματι靈 [the] Spirit ἄγεσθε你們被引導 you are led by , οὐκ不 not ἐστὲ你們在 you are ὑπὸ之下 under νόμον律法 [the] Law . 5:19 Φανερὰ顯而易見 Evident δέ- now ἐστιν是 are τὰ- the ἔργα事 works τῆς- of the σαρκός肉體 flesh , ἅτινά它們 which ἐστιν是 are πορνεία淫亂 sexual immorality , ἀκαθαρσία污穢 impurity , ἀσέλγεια放蕩 sensuality , 5:20 εἰδωλολατρία拜偶像 idolatry , φαρμακεία行邪術 sorcery , ἔχθραι仇恨 enmities , ἔρις紛爭 strife , ζῆλος嫉妒 jealousy , θυμοί憤怒 outbursts of anger , ἐριθεῖαι自私 contentions , διχοστασίαι分派 dissensions , αἱρέσεις結黨 factions , 5:21 φθόνοι嫉妒 envyings , μέθαι醉酒 drunkennesses , κῶμοι荒宴 carousing καὶ及 and τὰ事 things ὅμοια類似 like τούτοις這樣 these , ἃ- as to which προλέγω我現在預先告訴 I forewarn ὑμῖν你們 you , καθὼς像一樣 even as προεῖπον我從前告訴過 I warned before ὅτι- that οἱ- those τὰ事 such τοιαῦτα這樣 things πράσσοντες行 doing βασιλείαν國 kingdom Θεοῦ上帝 Gods οὐ不 not κληρονομήσουσιν會承受 will inherit .

5:22 Ὁ- - δὲ卻 But καρπὸς果子 the fruit τοῦ- of the Πνεύματός靈 Spirit ἐστιν是 is ἀγάπη仁愛 love χαρά喜樂 joy εἰρήνη和平 peace , μακροθυμία忍耐 patience χρηστότης恩慈 kindness ἀγαθωσύνη良善 goodness , πίστις信實 faithfulness 5:23 πραΰτης溫柔 gentleness ἐγκράτεια節制 self-control · κατὰ反對 against τῶν- things τοιούτων這樣 such οὐκ沒有 no ἔστιν是 there is νόμος律法 law . 5:24 Οἱ那些 Those δὲ- now τοῦ屬於 - Χριστοῦ基督 of Christ Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus τὴν- the σάρκα肉體 flesh ἐσταύρωσαν已經釘十字架了 have crucified σὺν同 with τοῖς- [its] παθήμασιν邪情 passions καὶ- and ταῖς- - ἐπιθυμίαις私慾 desires . 5:25 Εἰ既然 If ζῶμεν我們活 we live Πνεύματι靠著靈 by [the] Spirit , Πνεύματι靠著靈 by [the] Spirit καὶ也 also στοιχῶμεν我們行走 we should walk . 5:26 μὴ不 Not γινώμεθα要成為 we should become κενόδοξοι貪圖虛名 boastful , ἀλλήλους彼此 one another προκαλούμενοι惹氣 provoking , ἀλλήλοις互相 one another φθονοῦντες嫉妒 envying .

Bear One Another’s Burdens (Gal 6:1-10)

6:1 Ἀδελφοί弟兄們 Brothers , ἐὰν若 if καὶ- even προλημφθῇ被所勝 should be overcome ἄνθρωπος人 a man ἔν- in τινι任何 some παραπτώματι過犯 trespass , ὑμεῖς你們 you οἱ- the πνευματικοὶ屬靈的人 spiritual [ones] καταρτίζετε要挽回過來 restore τὸν- - τοιοῦτον這樣 such a one ἐν用 in πνεύματι心靈 a spirit πραΰτητος溫柔 of gentleness , σκοπῶν要留意 considering σεαυτόν自己 yourself μὴ免得 lest καὶ也 also σὺ你 you πειρασθῇς被試探 be tempted . 6:2 Ἀλλήλων各人的互相 One anothers τὰ- - βάρη重擔 burdens βαστάζετε你們要擔當 bear you καὶ就 and οὕτως這樣 thus ἀναπληρώσετε會成全 you shall fulfill τὸν- the νόμον律法 law τοῦ- - Χριστοῦ基督 of Christ . 6:3 εἰ若 If γὰρ- for δοκεῖ認為 thinks [himself] τις誰 anyone εἶναί是 to be τι甚麼 something μηδὲν一點也不 nothing ὤν是 being , φρεναπατᾷ欺騙 he deceives ἑαυτόν自己 himself . 6:4 Τὸ- - δὲ- But ἔργον行為 the work ἑαυτοῦ自己 of himself δοκιμαζέτω要省察 test ἕκαστος各人 each , καὶ- and τότε這樣 then εἰς在 as to ἑαυτὸν自己 himself μόνον只 alone τὸ- the καύχημα誇耀 ground of boasting ἕξει他將有 he will have καὶ而 and οὐκ不 not εἰς在 as to τὸν- - ἕτερον別人 another · 6:5 ἕκαστος各人 Each γὰρ因為 for τὸ- - ἴδιον自己 his own φορτίον擔子 load βαστάσει必須擔當 shall bear . 6:6 Κοινωνείτω要分享 Let share δὲ- now ὁ- the [one] κατηχούμενος受教導 being taught τὸν- in the λόγον話語 word τῷ與 with the [one] κατηχοῦντι施教的人 teaching ἐν- in πᾶσιν一切 all ἀγαθοῖς美好 good things . 6:7 Μὴ不 Not πλανᾶσθε要被迷惑 be misled , Θεὸς上帝 God οὐ不 not μυκτηρίζεται被輕慢 is mocked . ὃ甚麼 Whatever γὰρ因為 for ἐὰν- if σπείρῃ種 might sow ἄνθρωπος人 a man , τοῦτο甚麼 that καὶ也 also θερίσει會收 he will reap · 6:8 ὅτι- For ὁ- the [one] σπείρων撒種 sowing εἰς順著 to τὴν- the σάρκα肉體 flesh ἑαυτοῦ自己 of himself ἐκ從 from τῆς- the σαρκὸς肉體 flesh θερίσει會收 will reap φθοράν敗壞 decay , ὁ- The [one] δὲ- however σπείρων撒種 sowing εἰς順著 to τὸ- the Πνεῦμα靈 Spirit ἐκ從 from τοῦ- the Πνεύματος靈 Spirit θερίσει會收 will reap ζωὴν生命 life αἰώνιον永恆 eternal . 6:9 Τὸ- - δὲ- And καλὸν善 [in] well ποιοῦντες我們行 doing μὴ不 not ἐνκακῶμεν可喪志 we should grow weary , καιρῷ時候 in time γὰρ因為 for ἰδίῳ自己 due θερίσομεν會有收成 we will reap a harvest μὴ不 not ἐκλυόμενοι灰心 giving up . 6:10 Ἄρα所以 So οὖν所以 then ὡς一 as καιρὸν機會 occasion ἔχομεν我們有 we have , ἐργαζώμεθα要行 we should work τὸ- - ἀγαθὸν善 good πρὸς向 toward πάντας所有 all , μάλιστα尤其是 especially δὲ- now πρὸς向 toward τοὺς- those οἰκείους家人 of the household τῆς- of the πίστεως信徒 of faith .

Final Warning and Benediction (Gal 6:11-18)

6:11 Ἴδετε你們看 See πηλίκοις何等的大 in how large ὑμῖν給你們 to you γράμμασιν字 letters ἔγραψα我寫 I have written τῇ- with ἐμῇ我 my own χειρί手 hand . 6:12 Ὅσοι那些 As many as θέλουσιν想要 wish εὐπροσωπῆσαι炫耀 to have a fair appearance ἐν在上 in σαρκί肉體 [the] flesh , οὗτοι他們 these ἀναγκάζουσιν勉強 compel ὑμᾶς你們 you περιτέμνεσθαι受割禮 to be circumcised , μόνον無非 only ἵνα是要 that τῷ為 for the σταυρῷ十字架 cross τοῦ- - Χριστοῦ基督 of Christ μὴ不 not διώκωνται受迫害 they might be persecuted . 6:13 οὐδὲ也不 Not even γὰρ- for οἱ那些 those περιτεμνόμενοι受割禮 being circumcised αὐτοὶ自己 themselves νόμον律法 [the] Law φυλάσσουσιν他們遵守 keep ἀλλὰ不過 but θέλουσιν想要 they desire ὑμᾶς你們 you περιτέμνεσθαι受割禮 to be circumcised , ἵνα是要 so that ἐν拿 in τῇ- - ὑμετέρᾳ你們 your σαρκὶ肉體 flesh καυχήσωνται誇耀 they may boast . 6:14 Ἐμοὶ我 For me δὲ但 however μὴ不 never γένοιτο絕對 may it be καυχᾶσθαι誇耀 to boast εἰ除了 if μὴ- never ἐν以 in τῷ- the σταυρῷ十字架 cross τοῦ- of the Κυρίου上主 Lord ἡμῶν我們 of us Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus Χριστοῦ基督 Christ , δι᾽因為 through οὗ這 which ἐμοὶ就我而論 to me κόσμος世界 [the] world ἐσταύρωται已經被釘十字架 has been crucified κἀγὼ我也 and I κόσμῳ就世界而論 [to the] world . 6:15 οὔτε既不 Neither γὰρ因為 for περιτομή受割禮 circumcision τί緊要 anything ἐστιν是 is οὔτε也不 nor ἀκροβυστία不受割禮 uncircumcision ἀλλὰ反而 instead καινὴ新 a new κτίσις造的人 creation . 6:16 Καὶ- And ὅσοι凡 as many as τῷ照 those who κανόνι準則 rule τούτῳ這 by this στοιχήσουσιν行走 will walk , εἰρήνη平安 peace [be] ἐπ᾽加給 upon αὐτοὺς他們 them καὶ- and ἔλεος憐憫 mercy καὶ和 and ἐπὶ加給 upon τὸν- the Ἰσραὴλ以色列人 Israel τοῦ- - Θεοῦ上帝 of God .

6:17 Τοῦ- The λοιποῦ從今以後 henceforth κόπους煩擾 troubles μοι我 to me μηδεὶς沒有人 no one παρεχέτω給 let give · ἐγὼ我 I γὰρ因為 for τὰ- the στίγματα印記 marks τοῦ- - Ἰησοῦ耶穌 of Jesus ἐν在上 on τῷ- of the σώματί身 body μου我 of me βαστάζω帶著 bear .

6:18 Ἡ- The χάρις恩惠 grace τοῦ- of the Κυρίου主 Lord ἡμῶν我們 of us Ἰησοῦ耶穌 Jesus Χριστοῦ基督 Christ μετὰ與同在 [be] with τοῦ- the πνεύματος靈 spirit ὑμῶν你們 of you , ἀδελφοί弟兄們 brothers · Ἀμήν阿們 Amen .
